The Joyful Mind Project

More and more mothers and stepmothers are rapidly becoming depressed and it pains us when we hear their personal stories. We really wish we could put our arms around each and everyone of them, but it is difficult to do so. As a result, we decided to create The Joyful Mind Project; a way to speak to the several mothers/stepmothers who are struggling with anxiety and depression.

The Joyful Mind Project is a coffee table style editorial book filled with inspirational stories, beautiful pictures and expert advice, all designed to empower lives, one mind at a time. The book reads like a conversation with a good friend as I give the reader a candid look into the lives of those who are battling anxiety/depression. Additionally, from eating right to exercising or simply surrounding yourself with the right people, the expert advice in this book will become your blueprint for maintaining optimal mental fitness.

As one who has battled/beat postpartum anxiety, I can totally relate when one of my readers emails or calls because they are suffering from anxiety and/or depression. And, when she is also trying to figure out the sometimes complicated dynamic of the stepfamily, it can make it worse. I want you all to know that I feel what you are going through, I care, you are not alone and it is my fervent prayer that The Joyful Mind Project will touch and change your life in the same way that it did mine. When it does, promise me that you’ll pay it forward by using your journey to touch someone else.
